Caring for your Standout Jewelry pieces can be simple and easy when remembering a few things. 

To Store all your Jewelry: 

Store individually: To prevent scratching and tangling, store each piece of jewelry separately. Use soft cloth pouches, jewelry boxes with individual compartments, or even resealable poly bags to keep your items safe and separated. Add Silica gel sachets to your jewelry box to absorb excess moisture. If your jewelry ever comes into contact with water, perfume, sweat, or any other moisture, make sure to promptly wipe and dry it. Following these care tips will help keep your jewelry looking new for years to come. 

Jewelry Care: 

• Keep it dry: Moisture can cause both gold-plated and sterling silver jewelry to tarnish. Store your pieces in a dry environment, away from humidity and moisture, to maintain their shine and lustre.
• Keep it away from chemicals: Chemicals found in household cleaners, perfumes, cosmetics, and even sweat can damage gold-plated and sterling silver jewelry. Avoid storing your pieces near these substances to prevent tarnishing and discolouration.
• Regular cleaning and maintenance: Clean your gold-plated and sterling silver jewelry regularly using a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt, oils, or residue. For sterling silver, you can also use specialized silver polishing cloths or gentle silver cleaners to restore its shine.

Materials

18K Gold Plated

Most of our pieces are crafted from 18K gold-plated brass metal with a substantial layer of 18K gold, measuring 2 microns in thickness. Additionally, each piece is coated with an anti-tarnish layer for added durability. All the pieces are Nickel-Free.

Sterling Silver

We exclusively utilize 925 sterling silver. Standout’s sterling- silver pieces are stamped with the 925 mark - indicating the purity of the metal. Comprised of 92.5% pure silver, it boasts exceptional durability, perfect for enduring daily and long-term wear. 

Silver Plated

All of our silver-plated pieces are rhodium-plated over brass. It has a highly reflective quality that does not tarnish. Rhodium is allergy-friendly, harder than gold, and extremely durable.

Gemstones

All of our gemstones are genuine stones highly valued for their beauty, longevity, and rarity. We use an array of high-quality, natural gemstones, with most being sourced locally from nearby gemstone shops.

Pearls

We select cultured pearls and freshwater with utmost care for our jewelry pieces. Since pearls are delicate, remember to handle them with care and affection.
